He is currently practising as a Consultant – Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery at Manipal Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru. He received his foundational training at AIIMS, New Delhi, India's premier medical institute. He further honed his skills in Craniofacial Surgery, facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery , Pediatric Plastic Surgery, Microvascular Reconstruction, Hand Surgery, and Peripheral Nerve Surgery at the University of Birmingham, UK, under the guidance of globally renowned surgeons.

Dr. Kaladagi holds the unique distinction of being part of India's first endoscopic craniosynostosis release team and the craniopagus twin separation team at AIIMS. His extensive experience includes working at India's largest Level 1 trauma centre (JPNATC, AIIMS), where he treated armed forces and paramilitary personnel.
